Sentinel goo has a decent payout and refined quickly besides. The cached tech units used to buy blueprints can also exist refined to nanites, and unactivated mods tin be sold to the advisable mod dealers on stations for nanites (ane big reason people subcontract ships).

Yes simply in that location are plenty other ways to get nanites but there is only 1 to go tainted metal plus ypu need tainted metal for blackness market upgrades

Blackness market upgrades are worthless nigh of the time. They're rarely ever better than South class modules.
